As I wrote that title , I thought, huh?
The definition of a quilt is 3 layers of fabric, bound by stitching through all 3 layers.
Hopefully, the maker will see the wisdom in finishing the edges.
All finished quilts are 3-d but just like a most words in the English language,
3-d can mean many things.
In this case , I mean adding dimensionality with another layer of fabric.
I am teaching a class at City Square Quilts in Hoschton ( pronounced H-shh-ton ) Ga.

10 Minute Quilt Blocks by Suzanne McNiel
Below is my sample.
The book is available for purchase at City Square Quilts.
There are a lot U tube videos of Ms. McNiel making these quilts , they are wonderful , you never need to buy her book. Wait , what ?The book is worth it if you want to make larger quilts and don't want to figure out how much fabric to buy . Lots of folks believe Cratsy and U-tube are all anyone needs to learn a craft and they are great. There is so substitute for a hands on class.
I have played with and somewhat mastered the technique which has been around for a long time. I have seen it called everything from 3 dimensional Bow-ties to Cathedral Windows.
